The Story Behind the Eye:

Born in Germany, Christian originally set out to become a lawyer—but life had other plans. When an opportunity arose to work with horses in Canada, he chose to follow his passion and turn his lifelong love of horses into a professional equestrian journey.
The loss of his mother, a passionate photographer herself, became a turning point. Her passing awakened in him a deep need to pause, reflect, and truly "smell the roses." It was then that photography became more than a hobby—it became a way of seeing, feeling, and honoring the beauty in fleeting moments.
Christian’s equestrian background shaped his artistic eye. Training a horse requires vision: the ability to imagine the final picture and work with patience and intention toward it. Photography, to him, is no different. It’s about capturing more than what is in front of the lens—it’s about sharing what you see and feel behind it.
Today, Christian travels the globe in pursuit of light, beauty, and meaning—capturing the world’s diversity in landscapes, life, and emotion. Each photograph is more than a snapshot—it is a distilled story, a quiet culmination of moments, emotions, and artistry.
